Artist Statement​

T​hroughout many years of solitude, I have experienced both the beauty and the serenity of loneliness. Now, I wish to transform my loneliness into a source of creativity. To achieve this, I blend Chinese and Western painting techniques to repeatedly depict a solitary woman who enjoys inner peace and freedom within herself. These women represent free souls in the universe, existing anywhere around us. She may be flying in the sky, diving into the water, or communicating with animals and nature—wherever she desires—because she transcends all boundaries. Since life is a dream, I invite you to find happiness and bliss through my art. Let us celebrate loneliness!
